Fran & Brent's wedding was just magical. I arrived in the morning after driving two hours from Brisbane to the Sunny coast. The only thing was...it wasn't sunny at all. In fact it was pouring! I arrived at Halfmoon Hideaway and found Fran practically running around the venue preparing for the wet weather and adding final touches to the styling. I put down my gear and helped out as much as I could. Finally when things were in order, Fran finally sat down and got prepared to be pampered by Evalyn & Natalie for hair and makeup.
Bruce and I filmed at Halfmoon Hideaway a year before for Renee & Dave's ten year wedding vow renewals. You can see their super cute video here. The venue was just as beautiful as I remembered. Funny, the last time we were there, it was raining as well!
As time passed, the rain stopped just as guests started arriving. The precession went on and the priest, Father Chukwudi Chikana, was so funny. He kept the ceremony light hearted and we got to hear him serenade to Fran and Brent. After the I dos, we alongside Alan the photographer set off to a location down the road and the view just blew my mind! It was so pretty! The fog made for amazing photos! You have to check out the professional photos here. As we returned to the venue, canape's were being served and Nik and Mark got the guests grooving to their live music. The night went by so quickly!
