Smoke Bombs On Rooftops

Did you guys know Emily was a contestant on Masterchef 2017? Yep! You heard right! Emily was featured on this years Masterchef! How cool is that!? Planning a wedding and being on one of the biggest cooking television series all in one year must have been one heck of a rollercoaster ride for Emily & Andrew. But they pushed on and pulled off an amazing wedding celebration.

Bruce dropped me off at Emily's Airbnb at Westend. It was such a pretty home. I'm 100% sure it's owned by an artist because everywhere you look was so detailed and stylish. Not to mention the flower wall in the lounge!

It was so funny, a few days ago we had filmed Victoria & Kyle's wedding and we met mother & daughter duo Katina & Mary from Blush and Bangs. Two days later, I saw them both working their magic on Emily & her entourage! Not only did both couples have the same hair and makeup vendor but also the celebrant as well. It was such a funny experience and working again with familiar faces is always a blast.

After their beautiful ceremony held at High Church, we went off to the rooftop of Chinatown and set off some smoke bombs. We got some pretty awesome photoshoot footage! After that, we arrived at the Joinery in West End for their cocktail style reception. Emily had prepared a surprise lion dance for Andrew's family. Everyone was having so much fun! To end the night, Emily gave us some of her home-baked cookies for our journey home. She's such a sweetheart.

And how cool is this? I recently discovered cinemagraphs which is an animated clip that combines photo and little bit of movement in video. At 2am in the morning, I was just itching to make one! Couldn't be more happier with the outcome!
